Sisu automatically applies binning for numerical columns so the values are grouped into categories that can be used as a Sisu factor. By default, these categories are in quartiles. They are binned on the 0-25th percentile, 25-50th percentile, etc.

1. This can be adjusted or turned off by selecting a numerical column in the **Edit Columns** dropdown.

2. There are two other options that can be used for binning numerical columns:

**Width of bins:**The width of the bin (i.e. the range of values in a single bin) can be configured manually by setting the**Bin type**to**Width of bins**and manually defining the desired bin range.

**Number of bins:**The number of bins (i.e. how many bins there are in total) can be configured manually by setting the**Bin type**to**Number of bins**and manually defining the desired number of bins.
