Sisu automatically applies binning for numerical columns so the values are grouped into categories that can be used as a Sisu factor. By default, these categories are in quartiles. They are binned on the 0-25th percentile, 25-50th percentile, etc.
1. This can be adjusted or turned off by selecting a numerical column in the Edit Columns dropdown.
2. There are two other options that can be used for binning numerical columns:
- Width of bins: The width of the bin (i.e. the range of values in a single bin) can be configured manually by setting the Bin type to Width of bins and manually defining the desired bin range.
- Number of bins: The number of bins (i.e. how many bins there are in total) can be configured manually by setting the Bin type to Number of bins and manually defining the desired number of bins.
